Anreah Hulce, M.A., LPC, RPT™

I want to help you move toward healing and wholeness, step by step.

Build confidence and trust in your own resilience.

I want to help you have a space to slow down, breathe, and make sense of what’s happening inside and around you. Therapy is a place to explore the stories you’ve carried, the emotions you’ve tucked away, and the strengths you may have forgotten. I’m here to help you feel seen, supported, and empowered as you shape a life that feels grounded, meaningful, and authentically yours.

In my work, I combine a warm, relational presence with evidence-based practices to support you in creating lasting change. While we’ll explore the challenges you’re facing day-to-day, I also help you look beneath the surface to understand the deeper roots of your patterns, pain, and emotional experiences. I believe that when we gently uncover what’s driving your struggles—not to blame, but to bring clarity—you gain the freedom to make choices that align with who you want to become.

I work collaboratively, honoring your lived experience and trusting that you carry a natural wisdom about your life. My role is to walk alongside you, offering guidance, thoughtful reflection, and practical tools that help you reconnect with yourself. Whether you’re navigating stress, adjustments, relationship difficulties, old wounds resurfacing, or a desire to grow beyond survival mode, you don’t have to do it alone.

If this resonates with you, I’d be honored to support you on your journey.

THERAPY WITH ME IS…

A safe space where you can feel seen, uncover what’s really going on, and reconnect with your inner strength.

MY APPROACH…

Growing Toward Wholeness, Together

1. Rooted in Curiosity, Connection, and Safety

My approach begins with creating a space where you can show up fully and honestly. I believe healing happens when you feel safe enough to bring every part of yourself into the room—your strengths, your fears, your stories, and even the pieces you’re still getting to know. I show up with steadiness, gentleness, and genuine curiosity, meeting you exactly where you are. Whether you’re an adult seeking clarity or a child working through big feelings, my priority is to offer an environment where you feel supported and understood at a deep, human level.

2. Looking Beneath the Surface

Much of my work focuses on gently uncovering the roots beneath your current struggles—not to dwell on the past, but to understand how old wounds, protective patterns, and stuck emotions shape your present.

To support this deeper work, I draw from multiple modalities:

  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)

EMDR allows us to safely access and reprocess painful or overwhelming experiences that may still be affecting you. It helps your brain and body release what’s been held too tightly, creating space for healing, clarity, and emotional relief. This approach is powerful for trauma, anxiety, negative self-beliefs, and the “stuck” places you haven’t been able to shift on your own.

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS)

IFS helps you reconnect with the different “parts” within you—your protective parts, wounded parts, and the confident, steady core of who you are. Instead of trying to get rid of these parts, we learn to understand them and heal the burdens they carry.

  • Play Therapy

For children, healing happens through play—their natural language for expressing feelings, processing experiences, and making sense of the world. Play therapy offers a developmentally sensitive way for kids to explore emotions and build resilience without needing to put everything into words. It also supports caregivers in understanding their child’s inner world with more clarity and compassion.

  • Expressive Arts Therapy

Expressive arts therapy is a creative, integrative approach that uses art, movement, music, writing, and play to help you explore emotions and experiences in a safe and supportive way. You don’t need any artistic skill—just a willingness to express yourself. Through creative expression, you can access insights, release stress, and connect more deeply with your inner world. This approach is especially helpful when words alone don’t feel like enough.

  • Faith-Based Integration

I offer the option to integrate faith-based interventions into therapy for clients who desire it. This may include exploring spiritual beliefs, incorporating prayer, or using faith-aligned coping tools in a respectful and collaborative way. All interventions are client-led and rooted in ethical, evidence-based clinical practice.

3. Collaborative, Compassionate, and Practical Healing

I see therapy as a partnership—one where your inner wisdom and lived experience guide the direction, and my role is to help illuminate what you may not yet see. Together, we build insight, strengthen emotional awareness, and practice tools that help you feel more connected in your daily life. My work isn’t about quick fixes or forcing change. It’s about steady support, thoughtful guidance, and creating long-lasting shifts from the inside out.

My hope is that you leave our sessions feeling more centered, more understood, and more connected to yourself—both the person you are now and the one you are becoming.

WHAT TO EXPECT IN SESSION…

Working together to help you feel seen, heard, and supported.

While every person’s journey is unique, here’s what you can typically expect:

  • A safe and welcoming space: Your sessions are a place where you can bring your whole self—curious, playful, serious, or anything in between—without judgment. Safety and trust are the foundation of everything we do together.

  • Exploration beneath the surface: We’ll look at both what’s happening in your life now and the deeper roots of your thoughts, emotions, and patterns. This helps create insight, understanding, and lasting change.

  • Personalized approach: I draw from multiple modalities to help bring healing and wholeness. For children, this might include play-based activities. For adults, we may use EMDR or IFS techniques to process experiences and build emotional resilience.

  • Collaboration and practical tools: Therapy isn’t just about understanding—it’s also about doing. Together, we develop strategies and practices that you can use outside of sessions to help you feel more grounded, connected, and empowered.

  • Gentle pacing: Healing isn’t linear. I guide you through the process at a pace that feels right for you, honoring your readiness while supporting growth and self-discovery.

My goal is for you to leave sessions feeling more understood, more in touch with yourself, and more equipped to navigate life with clarity, confidence, and compassion.
